Sotheby’s has announced a New York sale of magnificent jewels on 11th December. The top lot of the sale will be a 51.75-carat, VS1, cut-cornered square-cut fancy vivid yellow diamond and has an estimated pre-sale value of $2.5 to $3.5 million.

The sale also features a 24.48-carat, D, VS1 emerald-cut diamond and platinum ring expected to sell for $1.5 million to $2.5 million. An Indian-inspired emerald and diamond Cartier necklace is priced to sell for $600,000 to $800,000.
